The Pošta parking lot is an excellent choice for a short visit to the center of Izola. If you need to go to the post office, the bank, or the pharmacy—this is the closest spot.
The seaside promenade, city hall, tourist information center, cafes, and restaurants are also right nearby.

How to Get to the Parking Lot
Ulica ob Starem Zidovju 7.
When driving along the main coastal road from Koper or Portorož, follow the signs for the center of Izola (onto Cankarjev Drevored). When you reach the roundabout or intersection near the post office, turn onto Ulica ob Starem Zidovju.

For tourists and day visitors: There is no daily (24-hour) rate. Parking for a full day will cost you more than 70 € during the summer season.
Long-term parking is available only to local residents or those with special monthly passes (subscriptions), which can be arranged at the Izola Municipal Office.

The parking meter in the lot accepts cash (euro coins) and bank cards. You can also pay and extend your parking time via the EasyPark app.
Infrastructure
Paved surface, marked parking spaces, partial nighttime lighting. A charging station for electric vehicles (EVs) is available. There are no restrooms, showers, or drinking water fountains in the parking lot itself. The parking lot is intended for passenger cars only. Motorhomes (RVs) and buses are not permitted.
