The Argo parking lot in Izola is located on the site of a former factory, right next to the town marina. It is one of three parking lots where motorhomes and buses are permitted to park; approximately 50 spaces out of the total capacity are reserved for them.

The parking lot is located in Izola, next to the marina, in the immediate vicinity of the old town center. Drive along the waterfront toward the marina. The parking lot is located on the site of the former Argo factory; a large brick chimney serves as a recognizable landmark.

24-hour rate

A daily rate is available and costs 18 euros for 24 hours. The hourly rate is 2 euros per hour. Payment is made at the pay station upon entry, and the system automatically reads the vehicle’s license plate number.

The machine at the entrance accepts cash and bank cards; payment is linked to the vehicle’s license plate number. The parking lot is not part of the EasyPark system.

Infrastructure

The surface is partly concrete, partly gravel, and partly grass. Parking is permitted for passenger cars, RVs, and buses. A separate area to the left of the entrance is designated for RVs and buses. There are no electricity or water hookups for RVs.
